Why You Need to Be an Impatient Blogger?

A lot of bloggers tell you that you need to be patient, right?

Well, I have done it too. I portrayed impatience as a “bad” thing to have.

Now, I am correcting that mistake.

You don’t need to be patient.

Be patient, if you want.

Read article about Patience that inspires me to write this article 😀

There is another side to patience that most bloggers tend to forget about. And in this blog post, we will take a look on that:

Lot of bloggers will tell you that patience is a virtue. And it is, I agree with that. To an extent, patience does play a very important role in our success. But, there is one thing we forget:

When talking about an issue, shouldn’t we look at both sides?

When was the last time someone wrote a post about the pros of being impatient (I really don’t know, since I haven’t read any posts yet. If you have, feel free to share them in the comments 😀 ).

Well, in this blog post, I have just decided to do that; I will give you a list of Pros – that I think – of being Impatient.

Why You Need to Be Impatient?

Impatience is something that is dissolved in the nature of humans. Yes, we can control patience, by teaching yourself to do so. But, have you considered the advantages of being impatient?

Impatience motivates you to act…

Yup, you heard me right: Impatience motivates you to act and strive for more (Well, that also depends upon the situation). Let me give you a simple example:

Imagine that you are blogger and you started working on a new project. You planned to put a lot of effort and time into the project so that you can get great results out of it. But, you don’t get the results that you expected. What will you do?

If you are a blogger who just started out, you are most likely to quit blogging. But, if you are a blogger who knows that blogging needs consistent efforts, you will keep on trying.

In this example, Impatience strengthens your motivation to keep trying. Why? Because you want to see those results. You want to get the most out of what you are doing.

And after you achieve the goals, the same old impatience will motivate you to do more and get even more results.

I will give you a better example, in case if you don’t agree with what I said. But, before that, let’s take a look at the definition of Impatience:

restlessness: a lack of patience; irritation with anything that causes delay.

Highlight the part that says irritation with anything that causes delay. Let me ask you: What would you do if you were waiting for your taxi cab – that you reserved earlier – at the airport and you came to know that your taxi cab will be an hour or two late due to an accident?

Would you wait for that taxi? Well, a very few of us would.

Others would just take a taxi from the airport and go where they want to go (there is a high chance of this happening if you have an important meeting/function to attend or if you are just tired).

How does that fit into blogging?

Like I said earlier, it motivates you to take action. In blogging, motivation plays a very important role. You need to have motivation to start blogging, stay with blogging and try harder to achieve the same goals that you expected to achieve with minimum efforts (realize this: nothing in this world is easy).

Be Impatient. You don’t necessarily need to be patient. Realize that most folks in this world are like you; they are impatient. Only a few folks were patient enough to achieve great things.

But, you don’t need patience. Impatience is enough. If you have the determination to take action 😀

Impatience will help you to strengthen your motivation to perform the action (and as I said before, it will even motivate you to go beyond what you were expecting to do).

So, Be Impatient.

Be a Blogger.

Just Blog 😉

P.S.S.T: Let me know of your awesome thoughts on my thinking 😀 Thanks a lot!
